I discovered a few years ago that the perfect antidote to my high-pressured Washington DC legal job was to spend time at a destination health-spa, which recharges and refreshes me in all sorts of predictable and wonderfully unpredictable ways, while being loads of fun at the same time. It turns out that The Spa Connection was founded by Lori’s mother, which Lori took over after her mother’s retirement, which makes it one of the increasingly rare small family-run businesses which I like to support. It was conceived as a “service” business since its primary objective is to help people help themselves and improve their lives with trips to these health spas. I’m certain that through its daily functions, of booking spa trips, The Spa Connection has improved the lives of countless people, who like me, owe them a debt of gratitude, if not more.
I feel fortunate to have personally discovered the benefits regular visits to these spas offer me, and even more fortunate to have discovered The Spa Connection, and through Lori and her team a way to take advantage of them more frequently, and keep my life running smoothly. If there is one secret to my success and well-being, it would have to be regular visits to these spas.
